June 16, 2021 Wednesday morning

MOVE day

I got to the house early and made my last cup of pour over coffee with fresh roasted beans from the Heater family. SO Yummy! I am sitting on the front deck overlooking the beautiful, rustic and wild property working on Steve's business on the laptop. I can hear several kinds of woodpeckers, but with all the leaves, I cannot see them. It reminds me that we hear or see glimpses, but the work God is doing is in the unseen much of the time. It is so easy to spot the red heads and black and white feathers in the winter when everything is laid bare in wait, waiting for God's breath in His timing to command everything to grow and move into a new season. As beautiful and lush as Spring and Summer are, I am unable to see the birds for the leaves!

Sometimes it is better to see the big picture. God's Kingdom picture is the big picture, our story is the small picture. We all get so wrapped up in our own stories sometimes, that we can't see outside of ourselves. In 2 Corinthians 4:18, it says, "So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever." The leaves come and go in their season, but the tree stands. Our troubles come and go in their season too, will you be standing?

By the Grace of God, I stand, by His tender mercies, I stand, by His power and strength, I stand. In the standing on God's word and His promises to protect, care for, provide, heal and comfort me, I receive His blessings, peace, and love. I am rewarded by God for obedience. So by being obedient, I receive all these good things and then I am rewarded even more for standing and receiving His strength, Grace, Mercy, Protection, Comfort and more. I receive blessing upon blessing! His love is abundant and what He does for me, He will do for you too! I am not special or "picked" that I am receiving. You are the same as me. As you turn away from worldly things and toward The Lord, ALL this and more is stored up for YOU! Will you stand? Stand in the storm? Stand in the beautiful peaceful day? Stand through the fear? Stand through the hurt and pain? He is calling your name, knocking on the door. Open it and let Jesus in!

I was first attracted to Steve because of his beautiful brown eyes and long lashes. It was in our first conversations that I knew he loved The Lord. When I felt that from him I knew Steve was the one for me. It took him longer to figure that out! LOL I was patient and somehow knew to just be chill and let him come to it himself. I have loved him since I was 18 and his precious family sealed the deal in my heart. They all loved The Lord. With Steve, I knew he was mine, even though I couldn't see it yet. God was working in the unseen. He is still working in the unseen in Steve, in me, in you. So precious that The Lord never gives up. No matter what I do against Him.

Please pray for nurse Dillon today, he is caring for Steve. He said that there aren't any new reports. They will do dialysis today and we pray that he can continue to keep his BP up without meds! His heart rate still hasn't converted back to normal rhythm, is still high with an atrial flutter. His temp remains normal and his kidneys and brain still need to be healed. In this time of wait, the winter season of our life (even though it is almost summer). We wait, while God is doing the work in the unseen, we can't see new life blossoming, excepting the woodpeckers that come to rid the trees of pests. God is also ridding Steve of the unwanted stuff attacking his body and holding him temporarily captive. I choose to not grow weary in the wait (of course there are ups and downs), I choose to Stand, knowing that He is at work and in His timing, His breath of life will come forth, calling everything to life again.

In Luke 1:64-65 it says "Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue set free, and he began to speak, praising God. All the neighbors were filled with awe." I pray this over Steve, I also pray the filling of The Lord over each of you for boldness and truth that will pour from your heart as you minister to others. Love you all! MOVE in your mission fields with love and boldness!

I am so thankful for moving angels today. What a blessing are the hands and feet of Jesus!
