June 7, 2021 Monday morning
Today is one calendar month that Steve has been in the hospital. We have met so many blessings at the hospital who have ministered to Steve and to us as a family. A community has jumped into action to love on us and support us. So many God winks and the miracle that Steve is alive and moving in the right direction. In Philippians 4:19 Paul is thanking the Philippians for all the support and provision they have provided, he tells them this truth: And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. I am so thankful that He knows our every need before we speak it. In Matthew 6:26 Jesus tells us: Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? 27Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? He also knows our tendency to look ahead which brings anxiety. How awesome that He know us and knows our needs so well that it is in The Word again and again. There are around 140 verses that tell us not to fear. If I stay in the present with Jesus, I have His peace. If sit in the past, depression and in worry about the future, anxiety. How amazing is it that we can choose our attitude and focus while we are on our journey. I choose to focus on all the amazing goodness coming from all this and I praise God that I am able to witness so much of it. I know that if I turn inward, backward or forward, I will miss the blessings today, the peace today, the God-winks today, the miracles today! Don't miss it friends, the present is a gift, and I will rejoice and be glad in today, the day The Lord has made.
Steve had a little bump in the road overnight, had a temp and BP was lower than they wanted. He is now back to normal levels for him. Please pray for solid BP and heart rate for dialysis today, continued fight against infection. continued shrinking of encephalitis, healing of brain and kidneys. I am feeling much better today and am hoping to be all better and going in tomorrow! Will hear more about Adam later today as his therapists meet and make a plan for him. Love you all and I praise God for each of you every day.

- Jeannine Santo ZupoI Continue to be in awe at your faithfulness. Praise God for the peace and posture he has provided you. Wish I was closer to be able to help pack boxes or make dinners but praying from across the miles.6/7/21
