June 7, 2021 Monday evening
It was a busy brain day at home. I worked on Steve's business, my sister Kirsten got us organized with a schedule and to do list for our last week in this blessed retreat in the trees. I am feeling much better and still taking care and expect to visit Steve tomorrow, I will reassess in the morning to be sure. Kirsten and I are headed to Frederick to meet up with and love on Riley before she goes to rehab to see Adam. Adam walked all on his own down the hallway today!!! So amazing all the healing that has taken place, what a huge blessing and miracle his life is!
Steve was able to have dialysis today, they did give him bp meds before and did have to raise it during dialysis, but after, they were already coming down on the meds. They also had to give one dose of heart rate med, but he did not need any more than that. They were extremely careful and only took off 1/2 liter so they wouldn't cause too much strain on his body after last week. Steve S ministered to him, read, prayed and listened to Cornerstone's church service together. Steve was very sleepy today due to not having dialysis since Friday and fluid buildup. We take a step at a time and are thankful for successful blood cleaning today with only minor bumps. I am out and about tomorrow, so I may not have time to update till after my visit with Steve.
