1130 update! SO! He is still not awake, which is normal. He is starting to cough and gag which is an awesome sign. He did pass his breathing trial yesterday, but because he is so out of it, he has been unable to maintain his airway to keep stats where they want him. So he is on full support, but everything is at minimum settings. AND because Steve has had such an abnormal and quick turnaround, they took him off all sedatives earlier than they would have which is also why it is taking him longer to wake because of what he has been through. There will be another test today to see if he can maintain his airway and they are confident that as he wakes up, he will be able to do so. Keep up the kidney prayers, kidneys and lungs go hand in hand, good kidney function means that the lungs can function better! I was able to pray over Olivia, the nurse and while I had her, prayed over all the beds and caregivers. I let her know that there are literally thousands praying for the team and each bed. If you feel led, you can leave a voicemail on Steve's phone and when the nurse puts the phone to his ear, I will play all the voicemails for him. ❤️ Love to you all!
