May 28, 2021 Friday AM
Crazy! I always call the floor secretary and she looks to see where Steve's nurse is and then connects me if the nurse is available. This morning, I called, it rang straight to nurse Sean IN Steve's room!!! WOW That is only God! Some of Steve's numbers were a little wonky this morning, so they are doing dialysis now to get him cleaned out on the inside, then they will draw blood again and he will be off to the procedure. Sean put me on speaker so I could pray for Steve. Was able to pray encouragement and blessing over Sean and all the doctors/nurses/techs/therapists/people who handle his chart and labs. I am so thankful for every blessing The Lord gives us and thankful for His strength and peace to keep us all going.
Riley is with Adam today. Please pray for healing of his Traumatic Brain Injury, his right leg and continued prayers for his spine and wrist that had surgery. Pray specifically for rehabilitation facilities for TBI. We are praying that Adam and Steve would be close together when they are moved out of their hospitals. I really, really need to minister to my baby more. In the gap, The Lord is surrounding her with community she didn't know she had, from his military family to his police family and more. What a blessing it is for her to be loved on in such a way. Another God-Wink, one of Riley's customers from the Starbucks store, reached out to her and will be spending the weekend in Baltimore with her. Her husband also had TBI and has been through this walk. We serve a mighty and amazing God!
When I find out about the surgery time, I will update. My sister and I are off to Winchester to take a small load to drop off in the garage and take some measurements! What a blessing this new town house and our new adventure in Winchester will be when Steve gets out! I have to laugh, because he Really Hates moving. I'll have it all set up and ready and he won't have to deal with it at all. Funny note, Amber opened a box and the box was half full and his ball caps were wrapped in moving paper. Hahahaha 😄 Stinker, he is getting out of all the work! Praise God for all the angels here on earth helping me! Love you all! Thank you for all your prayers!
