Journal Entry by Heather Ruments — May 20, 2021
Good morning! Quick update, just called and talked to Ashley. Steve had an uneventful night Praise God. The dialysis team was arriving and figuring out order of patients, so I am not sure when Steve is scheduled. Prayer focus is stable blood pressure, healing of kidneys and brains!
Praise report! I reached out to my new friend Judy this morning and she reported that Raymond is doing so much better this morning! She is on her way to Fairfax Hospital to be with him. What a huge blessing!
Over the last year I feel we have lost so much connection, people are hurting and starving for connection. I pray that The Lord would give us each opportunities today to make real eye contact, to open a door for conversation, to embolden us to reach out to someone, that we would feel that tug and be obedient to it. It is such a blessing to show caring to another. I KNOW, you all have been caring so deeply for us and showing it in so many ways. I find that I am most blessed when I take a chance and show someone I don't know that they are seen, and when they talk, they are heard. This is showing the love of Jesus and the world needs so much more Love of Jesus!
I'll update when I know something! Have a blessed day today and thank you so much for your prayers and continued love. <3

- Kris RomerLifting your wonderful soul in prayer, Heather, and praying for Steve: "Be thou made whole in the name of Yeshua." Yeshua, the Hebrew name for Jesus, means to rescue, to save or to deliver. What a wonderful way to pray in His Name! Your steadfast faith is making incredible impact!5/20/21

- Diana FletcherHeather, you were already the queen of connecting before all this (2020 and now Steve's illness). You have ALWAYS proven to everyone around you that they were seen, heard and loved. You have been so close to so many hundreds of us simply because of this very important way you live Christ. Keep doing that. Thank you for the reminder of what's important. Praying you feel the same through us and those that are around you today! Also lifting your specific requests for the day as well as any that are unspoken or unknown. Praising the Lord for Judy and Raymond. Probably only in eternity will we know the far-reaching effects of faithful ones like you.5/20/21
