Good morning! The ICU is packed with critical patients and it is difficult to get to the nurse for updates. Please continue praying for the staff and the 12 patient beds for The Lord's presence, peace, healing, wisdom and revealing over the entire floor. Pray that all who have contact with the patients are blessed in the work of their hands and everything they put their hands to, prospers.
I spoke with the night nurse at 7am, He said it has been an uneventful night, he is totally off all sedation, all vitals are stable and blood work is in the right direction. They said again that because of his kidneys, he is taking longer to wake up. His creatinin(I have no idea how to spell) is at 2.3 which is bad, but it was at 2.5 a few days ago, so Praise GOD! We love the right direction and good trends! They will continue to do breathing trials when the doc is in the room to see just how little support he needs to hold steady.
Prayer points, kidneys, continued healing of lungs and ability and strength to tolerate less and less help from intervention, and to Wake Up Steve! 😀 Yesterday was a hard day for us and the family with expected news and then no updates for us. Please pray that The Lord would keep our thoughts on Him and not on updates and news. We KNOW He is doing a good thing and we know that He is working in the unseen. Prayers for total surrender and trust in the wait. The Lord has placed amazing care-givers around Steve and we are so thankful!
We are also so thankful to all of you for your prayer support and for meeting our every need. Because of your generosity I am able to stay home longer and focus on all the hospital stuff, our girls and family, keeping his business going and getting prepared for our move on June 16th. I miss the kids and staff at Providence Academy who are such a blessing to me, but am thankful for more time. Love you all, will update as soon as possible!
