I just talked with Dr. Mendi the repeat CT scan showed the evolution that a stroke would show, but without the MRI, they are unable to medically diagnose and are going with a clinical diagnosis for now. They are treating as stroke. The big news is that I get to go IN the hospital tomorrow! Kristy Schnabel is going with me to meet with Dr. Lee and to meet everyone on the ICU floor. We will be able to be outside Steve's window to pray and talk to him in person! I haven't seen my man in 10 days! I will be needing the prayer support myself, prayers for Steve's full brain recovery as well as continued kidney and other numbers they look at. 

**** Edited to add: Steve is not awake! I will be talking to him, not conversing with him unless He all the sudden wakes up. <3

Also please continue to pray for all of our amazing doctors, nurses and other care-givers who are exhausted giving their all for each patient. Dr. Mendi said that in the past week he has started to feel like Steve is his brother. What a blessing they all are to our family and all who love and care for Steve.  

This is a beautiful verse that was sent to me today. He has me, He has Steve, He has each of you, no matter what you are walking through right now. Turn to him, give Him your every fear, every burden, every hurt. He is your Abba Father and longs to scoop you into his lap and hold you, comfort you, give you His peace. He knows every detail and cares about it all. He longs to walk alongside you in your every day, every thought, every decision. To be in relationship with Him is having an everlasting friend who never leaves you, forgives you, and cherishes you (me!) at your very worst. He wants you to know Him. If you have never given Him a chance, what are you waiting for. He is waiting for you. 

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
