Good morning!

I called in and the nurse said that during therapy in the middle of the night, Steve was responding to pain stimuli, and opening his eyes! He is getting ready for round three dialysis so continued prayers for getting those toxins out of his body and taking the burden off his kidneys as well as high enough BP and a BREAKTHROUGH the covid brain fog! He is showing us that he is in there and fighting to get out!

Night of Worship with the youth last night was so amazing! These "kids" really love Jesus and usher in His presence so beautifully and proclaim with boldness their faith. I am so proud and thankful for each one of them. The Church recorded it specifically for Steve to see and hear when he wakes up. This night was planned for last summer, it was put on hold. These kids have been planning and praying for almost a year. The date was finally set months ago and in God's perfect timing it came to fruition right when we needed it most.

Worship isn't just singing a song because we like to sing. For me it is taking the words of truth in the song, and choosing to believe, come into agreement, and run to my Abba Father for His sustaining,  and life restoring presence. Not about my list of wants/needs, but just coming to thank Him, praise Him, love Him. That peace that happens floods me as I step in obedience, it fills me, renews me, changes my focus, gives me His sustaining strength and protection during hard times. Worship is also every step taken in obedience, sometimes that means stepping out of my grief in the moment and getting into His word, or reaching out to minister to another, or allowing someone in my heart space to minister, love on me and help me. I am always blessed when i choose to turn my gaze from myself and my situation and focus on others. Trust me, I cry, yell, shout and feel bad for myself and my family sometimes. That is human, healthy and ok. BUT, I know that I was not created for being in that place, the burden of it is too much, too heavy and all encompassing with no light or hope.

I know from 50+ years of living, 40+ years of going to Church and 25+ years of walking with Jesus, that He turns beauty from ashes. I have experience and have seen this time and again. His word does not come back void. It is powerful like a double edged sword. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. What He did in the Bible, He is still doing and will do again. I have seen miracles, not just over the past couple weeks, but so many instances of His touch. He has never left us nor abandoned us. He is closer than our breath. He loves us with an everlasting love and He is in the very details of our lives. He is a God of details. Just look at creation, just look at what he has done in our lives. Will you give Him a chance, you can trust him with your heaviest burdens and even those that are just nagging life sucking parasites. Give it to Him. He adores you, you are His child. Love you all, we are so thankful for you and your support in so many ways. As my beautiful sister in law Debbie always said, "God is Good ALL the time and ALL the time, God is Good!"

I'll update when I know more. ❤️

This is the song I woke up with, I can't find how it is being sung in my heart(a huge gospel choir), but I love this Johnny Cash. <3 https://youtu.be/yQCl1Lh8M2g
