Long awaited news! I was able to talk to the nurse (doc will call at some point). She said Steve is the exception, they have not seen this kind of turn around, with covid19. (of course! It is all your prayers!!!). He is totally off heavy sedation, he coughed and gagged when they were turning him, but he is not really awake yet. They have not been able to do the breathing trial so far today , so they are actually going to give him a bit more meds till they are able to focus on him. Big prayers for kidney injury!
Earlier today, I was able to play voicemails with prayers and encouragements to him when the nurse put the phone on his ear, what a blessing!!!
Please also pray for Dr. Lee and all the ICU nurses and staff. They have had a very difficult and crazy day with admissions and severity of cases. There are 12 beds, Steve is 7. If you wouldn't mind praying for the staff and a patient bed and have a huge Jesus movement up there! I will update if and when I hear from Dr. Lee tonight, if not, tomorrow morning. Love you!
