Sorry to barrage with updates. Just talked with Dr. M and nurse Ashley. He said that they will be scheduling Steve for Trach and Tube Monday. That gives a few more days for him to continue to wake and possibly maintain his own airway.

Prayer request: His kidney function has worsened  so they are going to put him on dialysis today to help his kidneys get the chemicals and toxins out. This will help relieve the stress on his kidneys, help get the buildup of fluid off his body and also help his lung function. He said maybe once a day or every other day to support him. This is not a forever thing and they usually see the kidneys come back to full function. Prayers specifically over the procedure, and that his BP remains high enough during the procedure to be able to do dialysis as well as high enough to do the dialysis itself.  For The Lord's guidance and wisdom over all care givers and the blessing of peace in their spirits and every place they set their feet. The Joy of the Lord to not only visit, but remain with the Peace of the Lord on the ICU.

As I was getting ready, I felt a tug to start praying against the irritation and frustration of recovery. Steve has ants in his pants and he doesn't like to sit still when told. So add that too!  Praise God for prayer direction!  I get to visit and meet Dr. M today between 3 and 5pm! Woohoo! He wants me to be in there as much as possible to talk to Steve. <3 

Love to you all, may The Lord's peace and joy be with you today each and every place you set your feet. May he give you each opportunities to love and reach out to another whether stranger, friend or family.

• Ann Poulter : We are continuing to pray for him but more importantly, Christ is praying for him. Romans 8:34 says “Who is He Who condemns? It is Christ Who died, and furthermore is also risen, Who is even at the right hand of God, Who also makes intercession for us. So just keep in mind it’s not only your friends and family praying it is Jesus sitting at the right hand of God interceding for Steve. Love you
